Perimenopause and Menopause Symptoms: Q&A video with Tamara Neuhaus, MD

We’ve been fascinated by the topic of perimenopause and menopause for years — as have many of you, given how popular this interview about menopausal skincare (one of our personal favorites) has been.

As always, we found ourselves wanting to learn more about the effects of this transition on both skin and body, yet there appears to be a curious dearth of resources on perimenopause and menopause. So when we met the team behind The Cusp, a great local company that provides personalized menopause care, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to ask all of our questions, learn more about menopause symptoms and the mechanisms behind them, and add some material to the resources available on this topic.

So:

  1. You can watch a recording of our virtual Q&A with Dr. Tamara Neuhaus, The Cusp’s Chief Medical Officer, and our founder, Dara, below.
  2. You can read our interview about skin and body symptoms during Perimenopause and Menopause with Dr. Neuhaus here.
  3. For skin-specific information and suggestions, check out our blog posts with dermatologist Jeanette Graf, MD here and with skincare specialist Kristina Holey and star formulator Marie Veronique here.
  4. To learn about herbal supplements for perimenopause and menopause, read our interview with Dr. Anna Gold here.

Enjoy, and if you’d like to see more on this topic, please email us with your questions so that we can help uncover more information for you in the future!
