TWELVE Beauty
Pedro Catalá — creator of Spain’s TWELVE Beauty — is one of the most thoroughly educated founder-formulators we know. He has not only a pharmacy degree, but also a master’s in Botany and a PhD in Natural Product Formulation, a subject he’s taught at the University of Siena. (Yes, he’s fluent in Italian, too.) As one beauty editor put it, "What Pedro doesn't know about natural product formulation isn't worth knowing,” and after Pedro flew in from Valencia for a day to give our team an in-depth training on his products, we could see why.
